If you are looking for profound wisdom or earth-shattering insight, you have stumbled across the wrong page. I am not an eloquent writer with a highly educated mind. I am a former high school coach turned gospel preacher who has a desire and passion for all people to know God. I grew up in Northeast Arkansas in a Catholic home. At the age of 20 I began questioning what I believed and began searching for truth. My journey led me down many roads, some of which I could tell very quickly were not the right direction. Along the way I met my wife, and it was with her guidance that I was able to find what I had been searching for.
What I offer on this site is information about my personal ministry as well as my preaching ministry with the Oldham Lane church of Christ. I also maintain a blog intended to provide food for thought derived from personal observation and daily living that, I hope, may be of some help to all of us who are striving to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
